Kaya Families, It's remarkable how quickly the first two weeks have passed! Our students have seamlessly settled back into the flow of Term 2, each striving diligently to reach their independent goals with notable success. Witnessing their efforts since the beginning of Term one is truly inspiring. As we foster stronger connections and learn from one another, I eagerly anticipate nurturing and deepening these relationships further. Learning intentions English Spelling: Over the next two weeks, we'll delve into phonics, focusing on sounds ‘y’ making ‘i’ as in cry and ‘igh’ making ‘i’ as in light. Writing: we will revisit the structure of a recount. Maths This two-week unit develops student knowledge, understanding, and skills in the attributes and features of two-dimensional shapes.
