Term 2 week 3 & 4 2024

  Kaya Families, It's remarkable how quickly the first two weeks have passed! Our students have seamlessly settled back into the flow of Term 2, each striving diligently to reach their independent goals with notable success. Witnessing their efforts since the beginning of Term one is truly inspiring. As we foster stronger connections and learn from one another, I eagerly anticipate nurturing and deepening these relationships further. Learning intentions   English   Spelling: Over the next two weeks, we'll delve into phonics, focusing on sounds ‘y’ making ‘i’ as in cry and ‘igh’ making ‘i’ as in light.   Writing: we will revisit the structure of a recount.   Maths     This two-week unit develops student knowledge, understanding, and skills in the attributes and features of two-dimensional shapes. Students are provided opportunities to:    ·        explore how shapes can be made by joining (combining) and breaking apart (partitioning) existing shapes    ·

Kaya Families, Welcome back, everyone! We hope you all had a fantastic break and enjoyed some quality time with your loved ones, creating unforgettable memories together. As we dive into Term 2, we're excited to embark on new learning adventures with your children. Stay tuned for updates on curriculum highlights and upcoming events!   Welcome back Ella This term, we're delighted to welcome back Ella Moyle, who many of you may remember from last year. We're eager to assist her in settling back into the routine and reconnecting with old friends.
